My  Mum was the historian for our family. Whether it was me filing the dog's nails or my sister appearing in some crazy costume at the most inopportune time, somehow she got all the little moments and was just so good at capturing our childhood. This would have been pretty challenging as it wasn't as simple as grabbing her phone. She would have had to grab an actual camera back then! While she was great at capturing her kids, she seemingly also knew the importance of being in photos. My ability to look back over the years and see her frequently is now completely invaluable to me.
